It is a very difficult time for anyone when their best friend passes on to the rainbow bridge, this page is dedicated to all those beautiful hounds who wait patiently for you to join them.

We found great comfort in Wendy Tugby's books and if you have lost a much loved pet you should read them

Just this side of Heaven is a place called the Rainbow Bridge.
When a hound dies that has been especially close to someone here, that dog goes to the Rainbow Bridge.

There are meadows and hills for all our special friends so they run and play together.
There is plenty of food and water and sunshine and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the hounds that are old or ill are restored to health and vigour.
Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again,
just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The hounds are happy and content, except for one small thing -
they each miss someone special to them who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance.
The bright eyes are intent, the eager body quivers.
Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass,
his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted and when you and your special friend finally meet,
you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again.
The happy kisses rain upon your face,
your hands again caress the beloved head
and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your hound,
so long gone from your life,
but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together ....

never again to part.

Margaret and Chas Greatwich have lost their beautiful boy Paddy ( Brother to Abbie and Ollie). Paddy lived in North Wales with Molly, Harry Potters sister. He was a very special boy and we will all miss him.

He was such a special man; a complete rogue with eyes that would move the food from your plate!!! Adept at opening the bin with his nose, and putting his whole head in to find something tasty that had missed him! He was a Wolfhound of the First Order.

It goes without saying that the hole that appeared in my life today seems incapable of being filled. I loved him like no other! He was my introduction to Irish Wolfhounds, (He was a rescue from Peter Mitchell), and he has had such a profound effect on me that I will never be without again.
